Shan Academy Senior Secondary School is established at Mahtoli, Boko, Kamrup (Assam) as an Co- educational institute on 1st  Feb 2020. The name of the institute SHAN symbolizes comfort, pride and peace.

To establish the school, it was needed advices  and instructions of so many people and well- wishers and the school got the support very much from the people. The dream of  Shohidul Islam Tarofder to establish a school of quality learning in the greater Chamaria  area for its rural populace deprived of the quality education, is materialized through the pioneering and untiring efforts of Shohidul Islam Tarofder & his team.. The school is initially set up to impart better education ( in Science, Arts & Commerce) to the rural populace, to contribute to the educational, social, cultural and economic upliftment of the people of Chamaria area, to provide womenfolk accessibility for higher education and to bring healthy  educational atmosphere within easy reach of the backward rural population comprising minority community.

Shohidul Islam Tarofder acts as Managing Director of the school and  Jarina Ahmed  acts as principal. For Being a new Institution instead of having some difficulties, specially people’s support  a lot of  hardship and imitation, effective and relevant measures are being taken up with a view of turning the institution in to a centre of quality and excellence.

The institute understands the accountability and responsibility to the society and so, to play more meaningful role towards excellence, we have hired some best quality teachers from various places. They are paying their vital role to the school and the students.
